Frequently Asked Questions     Do You Have any Tips for Preparing for a Glamour Shoot ? 1. Make-up is critical. I recommend and work with several make-up artists who know how to apply make-up for Photography. 2. Leave all your jewelry at home. Use only jewelry and accessories that will complement your outfit. 3. Be prepared to touch up your make-up and hair. It is a good idea to bring face powder, a hair brush and anything else you need to touch up. 4. Clear or French nail polish on fingers and toes. No wild colors that will date your photographs. 5. NO BOY FRIENDS OR HUSBANDS ON THE SHOOT. Mom's, Sisters and Girl Friends are always welcome. NO EXCEPTIONS. (See the reasons for this at the bottom of this page.) 6. Generally we photograph models in three different outfits. We will make photographs that are full length, waist up, and head shots. Since these are the types of photographs you will need for a Model Comp Card. Do you pay for models ? Generally no. Exceptions to that are if I have an assignment that requires a professional model. Or, if I am working on something for myself that requires a 'certain look'. In either case a signed Model Release is required before any photography begins. What is a Model Release ? A Model Release is a legal document that allows a photographer to sell images that he has taken of a model. By signing a Model Release the model releases the Photographer from any responsibility connected with the photographs and how/where they are used. What about the Photographs taken on FTP Glamour Shoots ? Since I own the images of any shoot, I can make prints for my display - on the Internet or in my Display Albums. The model in return has received as full payment a CD of images, or 8 x 10 prints. How can I submit Photographs for Playboy ? The following items are needed. Playboy requires photocopies of two different identifications that show Date of Birth, one must be a photo ID, to verify that the model is at least 18, personal data - height, weight, age, measurements, what you are doing now and anything else you would like Playboy to know about you. A Model Release. Last, but not least, photographs which clearly show your face and figure. I will submit the photographs, and if you are accepted for Playmate of the Month, I will receive a finder's fee from Playboy. Playmate of the Month receive $25,000 if she is accepted by Playboy.
